OOOO, Looks cold! Nice job! The composition is rather nice, however I wish the telephone/power wires weren't in the image. Don't know if this was possible! Keep up the great shooting! :)

A trully evocative image - the isolated patches of colour in the bleak landscape are transendant. And you've managed to keep exposure on the snow without losing the shadow detail on the buildings. Wonderfully executed.
Crits? well, I always find credits that are imposed on the image intrusive of the artwork. This one's no exception - it keeps catching the edge of my vision and spoils that beautiful expance of space which, by definition, should be empty.
Strangely i don't find the pylons too intrusive. Somehow it emphasises the isolation implicit in the scene - the power lines being their only link to a wider community.
It's an inspiring and captivating piece of work.

You have too much uneeded space on top in my opinion. but great color contrast. and yes very good composition.

Either I would have chosen another angle, to get a "better" angle of the mill, or lowered the camera bit and worked with shorter DOF to blur out the background and focus on the creatures in the foreground.
To me, this is empty, but too messy to be serene.

I agree with Phill about the exposure. Nice job there :)

groetjes!
Lieke
